We know, we know: NYU is a hard place to find love. And whether you’re in a relationship or not, me-time is priceless. So, show yourself some love and go on these dates that are arguably better solo!
1. Get lost at the New Museum. You go to a museum with your bud who takes way too long at each painting and loves the art that you hate. Do museums on your own terms — a lot of which have free admission with your NYU Card!
Can’t wait for your favorite shows to return from hiatus (um, Game of Thrones, please)? In the meantime, here are some TV shows and movies on Netflix starring NYU alums to tide you over until winter comes… or whatever else you like to watch on NYU Campus Cable’s HBO!
1. All of 30 Rock. Enough said. Tina Fey might not have attended NYU but her co-stars, Alec Baldwin (Tisch ‘93), Judah Friedlander (Tisch ‘91), and Keith Powell (Tisch ‘01) did. Alum Donald Glover/Childish Gambino (Tisch ‘06) of Community and Girls fame also wrote on some of the earlier seasons. (See if you can catch the shoutout to him in one of the early Christmas episodes.)

They took to the interwebs to show their reactions… but mainly just really just freak out. (C’mon, who wouldn’t?! NYU is THE BEST!)
Congrats, kiddos <3 Hope to see you this fall!
